ODIN at the IEEE 17th International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering

The IEEE 17th International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering is the flagship automation conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and constitutes the primary forum for cross-industry and multidisciplinary research in automation. Its goal is to provide a broad coverage and dissemination of foundational research in automation among researchers, academics, and practitioners. IEEE CASE 2021 was held in Lyon, France, on August 23-27, 2021. The theme of the conference is Data-Driven Automation.

Dr. Roel Pieters from TAU was invited to give a talk in the workshop Novel robot technologies for agile manufacturing, to discuss robotic object grasping and manipulation in Agile Production, which finds overlap with topics in ODIN as well. In addition, as the workshop was organized by DIH TRINITY, it provided ample opportunities to engage and communicate with representatives from the digital innovation hub.
