AIC - AUTOMOTIVE INTELLIGENCE CENTER

AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center an European open innovation center working as unique partner for companies to improve their competitiveness through cooperation. The Center provides value to the automotive industry through the integration of knowledge, technology and industrial development at a global level. AIC supports the whole lifecycle of innovation integrally and market-oriented, from the universe of ideas to the development of a new product, from an improvement in process to the creation
of new businesses. Among other competences, AIC has developed specific expertise and developed projects in Lightweight, Electrification, Advanced Manufacturing and Virtual Development.

A total of 30 business partners and collaborators of 9 different nationalities, and more than 950 professionals have physically located key activities (R&D, new products, training) at the AIC and work both independently and together.

AIC is ready to take all necessary international capabilities on board, housing several but complementary activities and open to different dynamics and speeds (from local business to OEM).

AIC is located in the Basque Country, one of the leading auto regions in Europe, with over 300 suppliers and a global turnover of 20 billion euros in 2019. Basque suppliers account with more than 726 factories worldwide in countries like Brazil, Mexico, China or India being the 90% of total Basque revenues international originated.
